Priority of consideration is given to students who are enrolled in either the College of Arts and Sciences or the College of Education who demonstrate financial need, although not necessarily need as defined by federal guidelines. First preference is given to incoming freshmen students who graduated from a high school in Crenshaw County, Alabama. Second preference is be given to returning students who graduated from a high school in Crenshaw County, Alabama. If there are no qualifying applicants from Crenshaw County, Alabama, third preference is given to students who graduated from a high school in Butler or Pike counties in Alabama.
