J. N. Holt Endowed Scholarship

Established by Margaret Ann Holt. Priority of consideration is given to undergraduate students who graduated from a high school in Coosa County, Alabama, possess a 3.0 high school grade point average on a 4.0 scale and demonstrate financial need, although not necessarily need as defined by federal guidelines. The scholarship may be renewable for each of the subsequent years of a recipient’s undergraduate education provided the scholarship committee deems the recipient’s performance and academic progress are satisfactory and provided the recipient maintains a 3.0 grade point average on a 4.0 scale.
