Mel Allen Endowed Scholarship Fund

Established by members of the Pi Chapter of Kappa Nu Fraternity to honor Mr. Melvin “Mel” Allen, 1936 distinguished graduate of The University of Alabama and nationally known as the ‘Voice of the New York Yankees’. Scholarships from this fund are awarded to outstanding entering freshmen in the College of Communication and Information Sciences.
