Emily Alice Littleton and Alabama Nurses Foundation’s Memorial Nursing Scholarship

Established by Jennifer L. Littleton and the Alabama Nurses Foundation Inc. to honor the memory of her daughter Emily Alice Littleton. Priority of consideration is given to students who are upper division nursing students enrolled in the Capstone College of Nursing, are eligible for Federal Pell grants or who otherwise demonstrate financial need as determined by federal aid guidelines; specifically, a Student Aid Index that calculates to financial need of 50% or more of the student’s total cost of attendance, and have personal experience observing an individual’s mental health struggles which encouraged them to pursue a career in nursing. An essay is required for applicant consideration.
