Henry and Nancy Nunnelley Family Endowed Scholarship

Established by Henry W. Nunnelley and Nancy O. Nunnelley in association with the South Talladega County Alabama Alumni Chapter. First priority of consideration is given to students who graduated from a high school in Talladega County, Alabama, or home-schooled students whose origin is Talladega County, Alabama and are transferring from a junior or community college they attended in person to The University of Alabama and have attained a minimum 3.0 grade point average on a 4.0 scale in their previous college studies. Second priority of consideration is given to students who graduated from a high school in Talladega County, Alabama, or home-schooled students whose origin is Talladega County, Alabama and are transferring from a junior or community college to The University of Alabama and have attained a minimum 3.0 grade point average on a 4.0 scale in their previous college studies. Scholarships are awarded for one year only; however, if no new applicants meet the criteria, at the discretion of the scholarship committee, the scholarship may be renewable for each of the subsequent years of a recipient’s education, provided the scholarship committee deems the recipient’s performance and academic progress satisfactory and provided the recipient remains enrolled at the University.
