Established by Elisabeth Shepard Sheldon. Priority of consideration is given to graduate students working on research related to Alabama’s biodiversity and ecology, and the conservation and sustainability of Alabama’s natural resources using facilities and collections of the Arboretum at the University. Second priority of consideration is given to undergraduate students working on the same types of research.
