Norvin Richards Philosophy Endowed Support Fund

Established by the late Thelma Richards to honor her son, Dr. Norvin Richards, professor and former chair of the Department of Philosophy, and to promote the education of deserving full-time students in the College of Arts and Sciences at The University of Alabama. Award recipients are undergraduate students who are majoring in philosophy and intend to attend law school. Should the University cease to offer a major in philosophy, awards will go to those students who are minoring in philosophy and intend to attend law school.
