Established by Richard B. Funk. Priority of consideration is given to entering freshmen students who have exemplified academic excellence and leadership in high school, and who demonstrate financial need, although not necessarily need as defined by federal guidelines. Second priority of consideration is given to current students who demonstrate financial need, although not necessarily need as defined by federal guidelines and have excelled both in and out of the classroom at the Capstone.
