Coca-Cola First Generation Scholars Program

Established by the Coca-Cola Foundation. For in-state first-generation college students. Awarded to twelve incoming freshman each year for four years. Students must a) demonstrate financial need, b) be the first in his or her immediate family to attend college, c) enroll as a full-time students from Alabama and d) attain and maintain a 2.8 (4.) scale grade-point average in freshman year and a 3.0 grade point thereafter. One half of the twelve students must have declared business as their major.
