Robert W. Hodgkins Endowed Scholarship

Established by employees and friends of State Farm Insurance Companies of Alabama and of Robert W. Hodgkins, regional vice president until the time of his retirement in 1992. Priority of consideration is given to full-time undergraduate students who intend to concentrate in the area of insurance in the Culverhouse College of Business. Among qualified applicants, additional preference is given to students who show potential for success. It is the donor’s intent that the endowment earnings shall support students who have faced hardships in either their personal lives or at home and may not otherwise be able to attend college due to financial need. The scholarship is renewable.
