Maxine Wellborn Shaw Endowed Scholarship Fund

Established by the sons of Maxine Wellborn Shaw: Robert H. Shaw, III; William W. Shaw; and George L. Shaw through the Tuscaloosa County Alumni Chapter. Priority of consideration is given to entering freshmen students graduating from a high school located in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. The selection committee will base their decision on academic achievement and leadership as demonstrated during high school. Financial need is also a consideration, however, not financial need as defined by federal guidelines.
