Ronald S. and Martha R. Franklin Endowed Scholarship

Established by Ronald S. and Martha R. Franklin to establish an endowed scholarship in the College of Arts and Sciences in memory of Billy and Rozell Franklin. Priority of consideration is given to well-rounded students enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences who are graduates of Georgia public high schools in the Atlanta metro area, including Cobb, DeKalb, Fulton, Gwinnett, Clayton, Douglas, Forsyth, Paulding, and Rockdale counties; performed well academically in high school while participating in athletics or other extracurricular activities; and continue to be highly involved in activities outside the classroom while maintaining good academic standing at the University. Qualifying candidates must have completed a minimum of 30 hours at the University with a grade point average of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale and demonstrate financial need, although not necessarily need as defined by federal guidelines.
