Linda Livingston Shumilas and Robert James Shumilas Endowed Scholarship

Established by Linda Livingston Shumilas and Robert James Shumilas. Priority of consideration is given to entering freshman or transfer undergraduate students who have graduated from high schools within the state of Alabama and who are in the top 20% academically of the incoming University class. Among the qualified applicants, the deciding factor will be financial need, although not necessarily defined by federal guidelines. It is the donors’ intent that the endowment earnings will support students whose families are unable to financially support the recipients’ college education.
