Payne Family Endowed Scholarship

Established by Charles K. Payne in association with the East Tennessee Alumni Chapter. Priority of consideration is given to entering freshman students graduating from a high school located in Knoxville, Tennessee, or the following counties in Tennessee: Blount, Graham, Knox, Loudon, Monroe, Sevier, or Swain. If there are no new candidates during a given year, the scholarship may be renewable for each of the subsequent years of a recipient’s undergraduate education provided the scholarship committee deems the recipient’s performance and academic progress satisfactory and provided the recipient remains enrolled in the University.
