Mr. and Mrs. Akira Ochida Endowed Scholarship

Established by Mr. and Mrs. Akira Ochida to promote academic excellence for students at The University of Alabama. Priority of consideration is given to graduating high school seniors from the state of Alabama, whose academic records, leadership, character, and college entrance examination test results indicate a high probability of outstanding performance as students at The University of Alabama. The scholarship is renewable for each succeeding year of the recipient’s undergraduate education, provided his/her performance and academic progress so justify.
