Andrew Jeffrey Gilliam Endowed Aerospace Engineering Scholarship

Established by Jeff B. Gilliam and Terri A. Gilliam in association with the Morgan County Alumni Chapter. Priority of consideration is given to entering freshman or transfer students who have graduated from Austin High School located in Decatur, Alabama, who are enrolling in the Styslinger College of Engineering and majoring in aerospace engineering. At the discretion of the selection committee, the scholarship may be renewed to the incumbent recipient, for continued undergraduate education, not to exceed a total of four academic years of undergraduate study (eight semesters consisting of fall and spring), provided the incumbent recipient’s academic performance and progress are of such quality as to justify such renewal by maintaining a minimum cumulative 3.0 grade point average based on a 4.0 scale and provided the recipient continues to major in aerospace engineering.
