Mr. Robert F. “Frank” Brown Jr. and Family Endowed Nursing Scholarship

Established by the Alabama Nursing Home Association. Priority of consideration is given to upper division or mobility students who graduated from a high school in Cullman, Morgan, Winston, Tallapoosa or Walker counties in Alabama, are enrolled in the Capstone College of Nursing and demonstrate financial need, although not necessarily need as defined by federal guidelines. Preference is given to a student who has an interest in working in long-term care or a nursing home in Alabama, but if no student meets this preference, the award may be given to a nursing student who meets the other criteria and expresses an interest in practicing in rural Alabama.
