Windgate Charitable Foundation Endowed Studio Arts Scholarship

Established by the Windgate Charitable Foundation to promote the education of students in the Department of Art in the College of Arts and Sciences at The University of Alabama. Priority of consideration is given to eligible full- or part-time students pursuing undergraduate or graduate studio art degrees with concentrations in ceramics, painting, printmaking, or sculpture in the Department of Art in the College of Arts and Sciences. Recipients are selected based on juried talent in their selected artistic field, not on academic grades. Financial need is also considered, although not necessarily as defined by federal guidelines.
