Tuscaloosa News-Jamie Tucker Memorial Endowed Scholarship

Established by The Tuscaloosa News, The New York Times Company, and The New York Times Foundation in memory of James “Jamie” Larry Tucker. Priority of consideration is given to full-time undergraduate students with junior standing who intend to pursue a degree in advertising, possess a 3.0 or better overall grade point average on a 4.0 scale, and who wish to pursue a career in advertising sales. Preference is also given to students from the Tuscaloosa area who demonstrate financial need. The recipient also has first opportunity at a paid summer internship in the advertising department of The Tuscaloosa News.
