Kendall H. Taylor Memorial Endowed Scholarship
Established by the Olin Corporation and Chlor Alkali Products Division to honor the memory of Kendall H. Taylor and to promote the education of deserving full-time undergraduate students. Priority of consideration is given to graduating seniors of Washington County or surrounding counties in Alabama, whose high school academic records and character indicate a reasonable probability of success. Recipients must have a 2.5 or higher grade point average on a 4.0 scale. Consideration is given to students with financial need though not necessarily defined by federal guidelines. In order to determine eligibility, each year students must complete the FAFSA. Preference is given to students entering degree programs in the following order: general business, secondary education, chemical, electrical, or mechanical engineering, chemistry. Student must meet priority deadline for admissions and have a scholarship application on file.
