Susan and Carter Kennedy Endowed Scholarship Fund

Established by Susan and Carter Kennedy, along with the Lake Martin Bama Club/Tallapoose-Coosa-Clay Counties Alumni Chapter. Priority of consideration is given to entering freshmen students graduating from Benjamin Russell High School, or its successor, located in Alexander City, Alabama and/or Benjamin Russell High School graduates transferring from Central Alabama Community College, or a currently enrolled undergraduate student who graduated from Benjamin Russell High School or its successor, located in Alexander City, Alabama. If there are no qualified applicants meeting the first requirement, second priority will go to entering freshmen students graduating from any other high schools located in Tallapoosa, Coosa or Clay County, Alabama. Financial need is the primary factor, although not necessarily need as defined by federal guidelines.
