State Farm Endowed Scholarship

Established by State Farm Insurance Companies of Birmingham, Alabama, to promote the education of financial planning students in the College of Human Environmental Sciences. Priority of consideration is given to undergraduate and graduate students enrolled full-time in the Department of Consumer Sciences in the College of Human Environmental Sciences who are members of the Capstone Financial Planning Association. Recipients of funds are called State Farm Scholars and interact with corporate professionals in the form of a mentoring system, in which each scholarship recipient will be paired with a State Farm professional.
