Senator Howell T. Heflin Endowed Scholarship Fund

Established by the Colbert County Alumni Chapter. Consideration is given to full-time undergraduate students progressing to their sophomore, junior, or senior year who demonstrate a minimum cumulative 3.25 grade point average. Priority is given to students whose origin of residence is Colbert County, Alabama. Second priority is to applicants from Alabama. The scholarship is automatically renewable for each succeeding year of the recipient’s undergraduate education, no to exceed a total of four academic years of undergraduate study (eight semester consisting of fall and spring), provided the incumbent recipient’s academic performance and progress are of such quality as to justify such renewal by maintaining a minimum cumulative 3.25 grade point average based on a 4.0 scale.
