Kennard Craig and Jane King Smith Endowed Scholarship

Established by the Wesley Foundation alumni, friends, and family. Priority of consideration is given to students who graduated from a high school within the state of Alabama and who demonstrate financial need, although not necessarily need as defined by federal guidelines. Additional priority is given to students from an economically deprived area and/or a school system that lacks resources for the best educational performance. It is the donors’ desire that the recipients demonstrate an interest in social justice and/or community service with emphasis on being part of a faith-based community.
