Richard and Mary Jo Looser Endowed Support Fund

Established by family and friends of Mary Jo Looser and the late Richard “Dick” Looser to honor the Loosers and to promote the education of students at The University of Alabama. Endowment earnings are used to provide supplementary cash assistance to full-time first-generation students at The University of Alabama who graduated from a high school in the state of Alabama and who demonstrate financial need, though not necessarily need as defined by federal guidelines. Priority of consideration is given to students meeting the above criteria who are enrolled in the College of Communication and Information Sciences. Earnings may be used for, but not be limited to, the purchase of books, software, or other supplies; assistance with room and board, tuition, and fees; or other expenses outside of college.
