Joan and Wray Pearce Alumni Endowed Scholarship Fund

Established by Mr. and Mrs. J. Wray Pearce, in association with the Jefferson County Alumni Chapter. Priority of consideration is given to entering freshmen students served by Alabama Baptist Children’s Homes and Family Ministries who have attained a 2.5 minimum high school grade point average, who demonstrate financial need, although not necessarily financial need as determined by federal guidelines, and who are involved in extracurricular activities encouraging philanthropy and/or charitable organizations such as campus ministries. Second priority will go to students graduating from a high school located in Jefferson County, who demonstrate financial need, although not necessarily financial need as determined by federal guidelines and who are involved in extracurricular activities encouraging philanthropy and/or charitable organizations such as campus ministries. The scholarship is renewable.
