Raymond Rye and Claudia Cook Rye Endowed Apparel and Design Scholarship

Established by Johnnie D. Kasberg and Joyce Rye Kasberg to honor the memory of Raymond Rye and Claudia Cook Rye. First priority of consideration is given to sophomore, junior, or senior students who graduated from a high school in Marion County, Alabama, are enrolled in the Department of Clothing, Textiles & Interior Design and possess a 3.0 or higher grade point average on a 4.0 scale. Second priority of consideration is given to sophomore, junior, or senior students who graduated from a high school in Lamar, Fayette, Walker, Winston, Lawrence, or Franklin counties in Alabama, are enrolled in the Department of Clothing, Textiles & Interior Design and possess a 3.0 or higher grade point average on a 4.0 scale. Third priority of consideration is given to sophomore, junior, or senior students who graduated from a high school in Alabama, are enrolled in the Department of Clothing, Textiles & Interior Design and possess a 3.0 or higher grade point average on a 4.0 scale. The Donor Representative requests that only United States citizens or permanent residents be considered for the scholarship.
