Alabama Tenant-Farming Legacy Endowed Education and Scholarship Fund

Established by Dale Maharidge, author and journalist, and Michael Williamson, photographer, from royalties from their book, “And Their Children After Them.” Priority for the award is given to incoming freshmen from Tuscaloosa, Hale, Greene, and Perry counties in Alabama with preference to descendants of tenant farmers and sharecroppers who properly document their lineage.
