God at the Speed of Light Endowed Scholarship

Established by T. Lee Baumann, M.D., to promote the education of students in the College of Arts and Sciences at The University of Alabama. Priority of consideration is given to undergraduate students enrolled full-time in the College of Arts and Sciences who show potential for success in their chosen discipline, demonstrate financial need, are residents of the state of Alabama, and possess a 2.5 or higher grade point average on a 4.0 scale. Awards should be divided evenly among four recipients: one freshman, one sophomore, one junior, and one senior. If a student demonstrating financial need cannot be identified in any one year, endowment earnings are applied back to the corpus. The scholarship is renewable.
